We have been recently to ToyCon PH last June 30, 2019.
But We weren't supposed to go to ToyCon 'cause we prefer to go to AsiaPop Comicon
they both have the same ticket price but in terms of experience, AsiaPop Comicon offers a lot more.
Luckily for ToyCon PH, A week before their event,
APCC announce that they will no longer have an event this year.

It was supposed to be the first convention my siblings and one of my cousin
would attend to in cosplay but due cancellation of the event, We rushed and get our own ticket (a week before) to be able to join the online raffle to have a chance to buy the Limited Edition - Funko Funatic Philippines, Jollibee Flocked [wooh, that's a whole lot to type] and most especially to have the discounted event ticket price.

Prices, Prices, Prices...
If you would buy a ticket on the event itself, it would cost you Php 600 per person. But the early birds, You will only get it for Php 500. But luckily for us - a group,
They offer a special pass called SQUAD PASS for only Php 2500 good for 6 people,
They call it a Buy 5, Get 1 free promo but for us it was another bargain for the cheap-steaks.

What happened?
There's nothing much of a programme for the event which really bugs the heck out of me.
For an event that cost, let's say regular price - Php 600, I expect a lot.
We have been to APCC every tear since 2017 and it was freebies galore.
Not to mention a lot of foreign stars, artist and other pop culture legends.

Sure, there was 2 stars from The Walking Dead but is it still relevant?
I mean, People have stop watching The Walking Dead a long time ago.

Compared to APCC they bought Netflix's stars like the
Stranger Things kids and heck, they even have special Marvel trailers
without having to buy an extra ticket for that event.
I haven't mentioned, Yup! they charge extra for that meet and greet on those 2 The Walking Dead stars.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the event. But the reality is, If it wasn't for the "Jollibee Flocked"
I wouldn't attend it. It just lack a lot of offering as a convention goer.
I haven't mentioned the freebies that we got, Well, it was just a tote bag
with a spelled out text of Annabelle The Movie and a tinnie-tiny bottle of flavored water.

National Swap Meet 3 had better freebies than ToyCon PH
and the entrance ticket there only cost Php150.
It's just a glorified toy resellers market place. Sure, there was cosplay and some
Filipino Idols but still, it lacks luster.
Hopes and Dreams for the Future
Hope they will improve the event as a whole. It's really similar to all those small / meduim size
of toy bargain events that I have been to except it was held at SMX.
I mean, if you guys charge a lot = people expect a lot.
