Toy Photography for the Hobbiest and Collector

Toy Photography is a perfect hobby for people like Me and Carrot, who happen to have a dozen of collectable toys. It's the perfect time to showcase our collection in an "artsy" way, well, at least for us.

If your looking for pro-tips in this article, You've come to the wrong place. It's just me discussing ways on enjoying your toy collection other than collecting dust on your shelf and maybe a bit of photography tips but I claim that I am not a PRO at this. I just know what a good photo will get a bunch of likes in instagram, OK.

So, there are different types of toy collector, Me and Carrot are what collectors call "out of the box" type of collector (Next time, I'll do an article about types of toy collector). And we love to post toy photography in instagram, and your here readings this, it's just fair to share, the things we do to have tons of  ❤️ by Pancake.

COLOR COORDINATION

People love a well color coordinated photo, don't be shy to explore your filters.

USE PROPS

Using props, adds up to the visual impact you want your audience to have.

USE NATURAL LIGHTING

Nothing beats a good, old natural light.

and lastly...

HAVE FUN

Who cares if you bend the rule of thirds? or overly used a filter? (I know bunch of Photo Enthusiast) But as long as you enjoy taking photo of your toy, it doesn't matter to have bunch of ❤️on instagram. Me and Carrot, don't always have that 100 likes minimum (mostly me) but yet, we do toy photography because it's FUN, It releases us from stress.

Don't do photography for the likes, Do it for yourself.
