UNBOXING: VYNL Rubeus Hagrid and Harry Potter

Finally, We now own a Harry Potter vinyl figure! I have been a fan for years but I never

had a vinyl figure. As I've mentioned before on our last blog RON and HERMOINE Edition,

I wasn't a fan of the Funko POP! Harry Potter line and wasn't into the super realistic one.

This toyline - VYNL just got me started on collecting Harry Potter toys.

I had books and scarfs, several jewelries (yes, jewelries... several necklaces) and even convinced our whole office department to dressed up as Gryffindor's rejects on our

Office Christmas Party - to be fair, it was a movie themed party and

everyone was down with HP vibe so... there wasn't a convincing problem with that.

I love this toy a lot except for a few.

Again, I am pretty critical with my toys hair... and I do appreciate when they made it as close to the real life reference. I was just not a fan of Harry Potter's BobCut Hair.

He looks a lot like EDNA from The Incredibles.

Other than that everything was perfect!

UNBOXING: VYNL Harry Potter Special Edition Hermoine and Ron

Finally, We have a VYNL toy!

If you have been following our blog, we had a massive toy haul last first week of September and we are now trying to do individual unboxing videos of those toys we have recently snatched.

First on our list is, Hermoine and Ron Special Edition - VYNL. If you're based in the US, this would probably have a Barnes and Noble Exclusive sticker but here in the Philippines we got it as a SPECIAL EDITION. We don't have a Barnes and Noble shop here in PH.

It's our first VYNL figure and we are already obsess with this toy line.

We feel that it's more polish that the Funko POP! Overall, it's a better looking figure that the POP!.

The built and paintjob is more "cleaner" or "neater" that the POP! toy line.

I'm a massive Harry Potter fan but I don't have a POP! version of Harry, Ron and Hermoine.

It's not because I can't buy or find one, it's just not that appealing to me.

I can't seem to buy any HP POP! 'cause it doesn't speak to me very well.

But the VYNL figure, it's different story. Total opposite.

At first glance, it was love at first sight.

Immediately, I wanted to collect all the HP series of that toy line and even ended up wanting more. It's just more aesthetically more pleasing to me.

I have no massive issue with this toy, except for Hermoine not standing straight on her stand and I feel that she might fall off anytime soon. I hope they can make it more sturdy to stand on it's own.

Overall, it's a good deal for a toy. You'll automatically have 2 toys for a price of one. And can immediately start a pair / couple collection, if you're in to that. I just hope Funko will make more variety in this toy line. I hope they could bring more of those POP! characters in this toy line it just have potential to be the next "POP!" on there empire.

TOY REVIEW

This is a double unboxing video plus Me and Carrot got to speak and tell our personal insight on our latest toy haul. On this haul my personal favorite is Chewy riding the AT-ST, if I may say so this might be the first Star Wars character in Funko POP! form to ride a land machine. Usually, characters ride a jet on the deluxe offer, so when Me and Carrot got this, I felt it was a steal, especially for it's price. And it's pretty big for the usually deluxe Funko POP!. But the real huge score was getting Young Anakin Skywalker. Getting exclusives here in the Philippines is pretty hard because of limitation on shops where to get one, good thing we got one on a very reasonable price.
